ADHD - Dr Vincent's Books and DVD

My Brain Needs Glasses, book for children with ADHD

It is sometimes difficult to explain in childlike words what is ADHD. That is why Dr Annick Vincent wrote My Brain Needs Glasses. She wanted to make it dynamic and colourful. The drawings are the works of several children of her neighbourhood.

My Brain STILL Needs Glasses, book for adult with ADHD

After the success of her first book and at the request of her adult patients, she then wrote a book on ADHD for adults in a friendly, convenient and pleasant format to read: My Brain Still Need Glasses.

Dr Kathleen Nadeau, a well-known expert in ADHD in the United States wrote about My Brain STILL Needs Glasses: Your book is very brief and user-friendly and can provide a good introduction to ADHD in adults that is not provided by other, longer books that have been published here. I especially like your section on medication and what to expect – so many adults are prescribed medication by physicians that give them very few guidelines about either side effects or benefits other than very general comments on how stimulants should help increase ability to focus.
